Giving to a cause, not a corporation
POSTERS / PHILANTHROPY / DESIGN / STORY TELLING / BRAND
The United Way was under fire. Misappropriation of money. Scandals. Bad headlines. They had new leadership and wanted new thinking on how to repair the damage and get people to believe in them. We wanted to start a conversation, so we created posters that demanded you walked up and into them. Bright and colorful from a far, but up close you had to confront the subjects of people in need and who we are as humans. You literally had to lean in. This was a brave client.

How do you want to be remembered?
With no money and no media budget we presented TV. They loved the idea of a little girl in a cemetery asking the audience a simple question. As did Tony Kaye, because we sent him the idea and he basically donated a day to us to make this film.
