600 unique and different islands needed one idea. We invented a way for concerned people to get their workaholic or sun-deprived loved ones the help they so desperately need: A Bahamavention.

More than just a TV campaign, we created a robust website with its own booking engine for people to plan their entire trip (even airfares), video travelogue, new voice-mail messages for the tourism headquarters and, finally,  a (now infamous) half-hour Bahamavention Infomercial. It earned the Bahamas their best tourist season in a decade we helped them attract 5 million tourists in a single year for the first time ever.

Bahamavention informercial

This half-hour "Bahamavention" infomercial aired on late-night TV. If you think doing an infomercial is easy, it isn’t. Creating a parody of this genre was even more challenging. Following the rules of an infomercial and breaking them was also the source of many belly laughs.
