THE WORK
Fallon was my dream job before I was out of art school. That idea I persuaded relentlessly. I just wanted a chance to run with the Fallon horses. The day I flew to Minneapolis for my interview with David Lubars was surreal. David looked at my work and he said this, “Your work is good, not Fallon good. You’ll get a shot, if you miss, you won’t get another.” I couldn’t say yes fast enough. I spent 14 years never forgetting his words in the pursuit of great ideas. Work I helped create sits humbly amongst all the other creatives who knew what our job was. The work.
Thank you David Lubars and all the amazing horses.
